Well I successfully finished week 1! woo hoo!! 4 runs this week of 2.5 (2), 3, and 5 miles for a total of 13 miles. I also wanted to see how much of the weight I had gained back. I started at 220 lbs. a year a go, lost a bunch for the marathon and unfortunately gained most of it back. I clocked in at 217 this morning. I expect the first 5 or 6 lbs to come off pretty easy and hope to be back down to 210 by years end.
The achilles felt good today. I'll keep the mileage pretty consistant for next week but plan on doing 6 miles for the long run.
