So I get an email saying the Ashland, MA Fire and Police department have 6 numbers they are giving out but you have to raise money for their special programs. I'm all for helping out others so I figured let's give it a shot! I'm still waiting for the paperwork but I have been assured I will get one of the numbers.
This is good timing since it's about 18 weeks to the marathon. I'll have plenty of time to get ready. Last week was a 15 mile week with a long run of 5.5 miles. I hope get about 17 miles in this week with a 7 mile long run and some speed work.
